A Way Forward

I'm stepping back from organizing; but someone else is stepping up!

Hi Friends!

One of the most beautiful things about grassroots movements — like grass, we just keep growing!

As I shared in my last post, the person who I (mistakenly, it turns out) thought was my main partner in taking on some large community organizing projects, turned out not to be committed, after all. So after having robustly overextended myself, and it being very very clear that I couldn’t continue to do so, I announced I was stepping back.

But, Lo! Up stepped our friend Matt! And we see a way forward …

So our monthly Sunday gatherings will take place, after all. I will (likely) be there and still bring people together (like the Freedom veterinarian that I really want us all to meet — you’re not jabbing your pets anymore, are you??). But no more elaborate workshop schedules — this is going to be more casual. We’ll just come together and see what arises out of our common interests and conversations. (But the Homestead Collective is, I think, definitely a go!)
